Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by BE Creative Drama Studios, including Drama Birthday Parties, Term Classes, Holiday Workshops, and any other programs or events. By making a booking or enrolment you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms on behalf of yourself and any participating children.

Term Classes & Holiday Workshops
$ Fees & Cancellation
- ▸If fees are not received by the due date each term, the Studio Director will contact the parents/carers to rectify the outstanding fees. A 10% late fee may be incurred.
- ▸Should you wish to cancel your child's enrolment, cancellation must be received by the Studio Director via email and prior to the beginning of the next Term. If cancellation is not received via email, BE Creative Drama Studios will assume the student's enrolment and bill accordingly.
- ▸The Director may, at times, provide a referral discount. If you qualify for this discount (by referring a new student to the studio), the discount will be applied to your invoice. However, if the referred party does not complete enrolment, you will be issued an invoice to make up the full-term payment. Discount is only available for one use per promotion.
✕ Behaviour Policy
- ▸The Studio has a strict no-tolerance policy regarding bullying in our classes. All students are expected to treat tutors, peers, and classroom/theatre property with the utmost respect. In the case of misbehaviour, tutors will: (1) speak with students directly; (2) contact parents/carers if misbehaviour continues; (3) speak with the Coordinator should it continue further.
- ▸If a student has learning difficulties or diagnoses that affect their behaviour, please communicate these in your enrolment so we can prepare the best learning environment for your child. Enrolment information is confidential and private.
- ▸Physical threats or altercations will not be tolerated against tutors or peers and will result in immediate contacting of parents/carers and withdrawal from the class.

Drama Birthday Parties
$ Booking & Payment
- ▸A non-refundable 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your party date.
- ▸Full payment must be received prior to the party date. Payment details will be provided upon booking confirmation.
- ▸Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
📍 Travel & Parking
- ▸For parties hosted at a venue outside a 25 km radius of Brisbane City, a travel fee of $1 per kilometre (one way) will be added to your invoice.
- ▸Where parking is limited at the event venue, a reasonable parking fee may be applied to cover costs incurred by the facilitator. We will advise you of this prior to the event where possible.
✕ Cancellations
- ▸If you need to cancel your booking, please call us as soon as possible so we can manage our schedule accordingly.
- ▸Your deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 10 days of your event date.
- ▸In the case of severe weather or other circumstances beyond your control that prevent the event from proceeding, we will work with you to postpone or cancel. A full refund will be issued where cancellation is due to circumstances entirely outside the client's control.
- ▸In the rare event that BE Creative Drama Studios is unable to fulfil a booking, a full refund of all payments received will be issued promptly.

Liability
- ▸BE Creative Drama Studios takes all reasonable care in the delivery of our services. Our facilitators are experienced professionals who prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all participants at all times.
- ▸Drama and physical theatre activities involve active participation. Whilst every precaution is taken to ensure safety, BE Creative Drama Studios accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in activities, except where directly caused by our negligence.
- ▸BE Creative Drama Studios holds public liability insurance.
- ▸Parents and guardians are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements prior to the event. BE Creative Drama Studios is not liable for any harm arising from undisclosed conditions.
- ▸BE Creative Drama Studios reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour poses a risk to others. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

Pricing & GST
▸All prices advertised by BE Creative Drama Studios are exclusive of GST. GST will be added to your invoice at the applicable rate.

General Terms
▸BE Creative Drama Studios reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on this page.
▸Photography and videography may be taken during BE Creative events for promotional purposes. If you do not consent to your child appearing in promotional material, please notify us in writing prior to the event.
▸These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
